Manuscripts Acession Number Books, 1958-1985.

Consists of six volumes containing manuscript accession numbers for state collections in the Tennessee State Library and Archives. Manuscript accession numbers are given manuscript collections in order to identify collections. The number list begins with the first collection processed sometimes after the creation of the Manuscript Division. Beginning in 1967, the year of access is used in the accession number as the last two digits. These notebooks were discontinued at the end of 1985.
